like these on a consistent basis. They are still important but not
as important as this next handicapping angle we are unveiling.
We are calling it the win one more for the coach angle. These
situations are rare and only happen towards the end of the season,
but when they do come along they are some of the best bets out there.
When a coach is retiring or has been fired we advise playing on
a team in the coaches last home game. Now the coach may not be well
liked by the fans or its players but for whatever reason the players
feel some sort of loyalty towards the departing coach and give a
110% effort on the playing field. The coaches last home game is
when all this effort comes to fruition and teams often pull major
upsets against quality opponents.
In recent years books have factored this angle into their lines
more than they used due to public knowledge of the angle but the
win one for the coach angle still holds plenty of water and should
be considered every time the situation arises.
